Users often experienced uncertainty around delivery timing, as the app lacked a real-time tracking feature to keep them informed. Additionally, making changes to food preferences at the checkout stage was inconvenient, with no clear way to edit individual items—leading to frustration and ordering errors.

Building on the user flows, I created a low-fidelity prototype that specifically targeted the goals identified in the personas. This prototype was employed in user testing to gather insights and inform further product improvements.

To address these pain points, we introduced a real-time tracking map that allows users to monitor their delivery status with confidence. We also added an edit function within the checkout page, enabling users to easily adjust individual items without restarting the order process. These changes made the experience more transparent, flexible, and user-friendly.

To eliminate uncertainty around delivery timing, we implemented a real-time tracking map that visually displays the order status—from preparation to on-the-way updates. This not only reassures users but also reduces the need for manual check-ins or support inquiries.

Recognizing that users may need to make changes before confirming their order, we introduced an inline edit feature for individual items directly on the checkout page. This gives users the freedom to update preferences—such as toppings, quantity, or special instructions—without having to backtrack, ensuring a smoother and more flexible ordering experience.

The final high-fidelity prototype introduced streamlined user flows for order placement and checkout. It addressed user requirements by offering both pickup and delivery options, as well as real-time order tracking.
